Throughout the year, the North Central Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce and its partners create and distribute reports and studies on issues important to our members and North Central Massachusetts. Click on the links below to download PDF files of some of our various publications.
Economic impact survey issued to businesses located in North Central Massachusetts on the continuing impact from the COVID-19 pandemic. The survey addresses businesses’ operational and workforce impacts. Businesses were also asked to share information about resources they have leveraged or need to aid in recovery efforts.

An economic profile study of the region done in partnership with the UMass Donohue Institute.
Each year the North Central Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce and Fidelity Bank partner on an economic outlook study of the North Central Massachusetts economy. The results are presented at the Chamber’s Annual Economic Outlook Breakfast program.

Working with multiple sources, the North Central Massachusetts Development Corporation publishes a comprehensive listing of local manufacturers in the region. In addition to the listing of local manufacturers, the publication also includes a section on life science companies, a listing of suppliers and a guide to business and industrial parks in North Central Massachusetts.

North Central Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce partners with Fitchburg State University to conduct an Annual Hiring & HR Trends study. The objective of this study is to gauge annual senior level business and non-profit perspectives on emerging hiring and HR trends and issues in our region. This study is administered by Fitchburg State University Business & Entrepreneurship Professor Dr. Mike Greenwood, in cooperation with the Chamber. Dr. Greenwood also serves on the NCMCC Community Leadership Institute steering committee and NCMCC Leadership Counsel.
