Willie’s Warriors Presents “Journey to a Cure” Event to Honor Local Cancer Survivors and Remember Those Lost
Entertainment will be provided by The Great Escape, A Journey Tribute Band. Learn more about the band at http://www.thegreatescapemusic.com Tickets are $15.00 and they include food/snacks. We will also have raffles, t-shirts, and luminaries for sale throughout the night.
Last year Leominster Credit Union Warriors and Willie’s Warrior’s were one of top Fundraisers and raised over $6,000.00 for the event and their total combined donation was just over $10,000.00. The event will be held at Breakaway Billiards in Clinton MA on Saturday, May 13th at 8pm.
Anyone desiring to “fight back” may do so by participating in our event or by visiting our website at www.willieswarriors.org Many local business have reached out supporting this cause. Events like this cannot happen with out their help. Please visit our website for a list of our sponsors. Attending the event or making a donation helps the American Cancer Society achieve its mission of saving lives by helping people stay well, by helping people get well, by finding cures, and by fighting back against the disease.
The event will be hosted by Willie’s Warriors. An organization created by Lydia Vazquez who currently resides in Lancaster MA. She created the group to remember her father, Wilfredo Vazquez-Pol who lost his 10 year battle against cancer on April 8, 2010. This event marks the 7th year anniversary of his death. Several other “Warriors”, all local members of the community, are remembered through this group.

The Perkins Annual Golf Tournament enjoys the proud standing of being one of the best tournaments in the area and one that our golfers and sponsors look forward to returning to every year. Played at the beautiful Sterling National Country Club in Sterling, MA, a fun, scramble style 18 holes of golf is followed by a five-star beer + wine reception and dinner at our Janeway dining room on the Perkins campus in Lancaster. Our no pressure raffle and live auction allows tournament guests an opportunity to lend added support to the people we serve at Perkins. The day starts at 9:00 a.m. with a continental breakfast and the chance to loosen up on the practice green and driving range, followed by a shotgun start at 11:00. Cognizant of our guests gift of time, we consistently meet our goal of having guests out the door and heading home no later than 6:30.

Daniel Thibeault Receives ASQ Quality Auditor Certification
Milwaukee, Wis., 02/15/2017 — The Certification Board of ASQ (American Society for Quality) is pleased to
announce that Daniel Thibeault has completed the requirements to be named an ASQ-Certified Quality
Auditor, or ASQ CQA.
As such, Daniel Thibeault has reached a significant level of professional recognition, indicating a proficiency
in and a comprehension of auditing principles and practices. Individuals who earn this certification are
allowed to use “ASQ CQA” on their business cards and professional correspondence.
“Earning an ASQ certification is more than a great accomplishment – it’s a formal recognition of
professionals that they have demonstrated an understanding of, and a commitment to, quality practices in
their field,” said ASQ Chair Cecilia Kimberlin. “This distinction represents an investment in ones future and
provides a competitive advantage to those who earn ASQ certifications.”
In order to qualify for the Certified Quality Auditor examination, an individual must have eight years of work
and/or experience related to the Body of Knowledge. Certified Quality Auditor is a professional who
understands the standards and principles of auditing and the auditing techniques of examining, questioning,
evaluating and reporting to determine a quality system’s adequacy and deficiencies.
Since 1968, when the first ASQ certification examination was administered, more than 190,000 individuals
have taken the path to reaching their goal of becoming ASQ-certified in their field or profession, including
many of who have attained more than one designation.

When the workday ends and the lights go down, Custom Cleaning Service of Peabody, Inc. gets to work. “We operate as our clients’ silent partner after business hours,” says Adam Paicos, of Templeton, who now serves as Director of Operations and oversees the company’s expansion into North Central MA. “We are not often seen, but we ensure facilities are clean, secure, and ready for business each day while serving as the eyes and ears for our clients when they are not on site.”
