Local Banks and Businesses Step Up to Sponsor Habitat for Humanity Spring Breakfast
Habitat for Humanity North Central MA will again host its Spring Breakfast event on May 3, 2017 at the First Parish of Bolton from 7:30 – 8:30 am. The breakfast is an annual awareness and “friend-raising” event and provides an opportunity for the community to meet Habitat’s newest homeowners and to learn more about current building and renovation projects in the region. Habitat for Humanity North Central MA will also honor its long-term volunteers at the breakfast.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the many local banks and businesses who have come together to help sponsor this event. This year’s event sponsors include Avidia Bank, DCU, Enterprise Bank, Exit Assurance, Exit New Options, The Law Office of David R. Rocheford, Jr., P.C. and 3-D Asset Management. All Sponsors receive a dedicated table and recognition before and during the event. Sponsorships are still being accepted and more details can be found by visiting the Habitat for Humanity website.
Keynote speaker for the Breakfast is award-winning author Michael J. Tougias. Michael J. Tougias is a NY Times Bestselling author and co-author of 24 books. He is best known for his seven survival at sea books such as A Storm Too Soon, So Close To Home, and The Finest Hours now a major motion picture by Disney. His book, Ten Hours Until Dawn: The True Story of Heroism and Tragedy Aboard the Can Do in the Blizzard of 78, was selected by the American Library Association as one of the “Top Books of the Year” and described as “a white-knuckle read, the best book of its kind.”

Habitat for Humanity North Central Massachusetts
Habitat for Humanity NCM offers a hand up, not a hand out, to hard-working, low-income central Massachusetts families seeking affordable homeownership. Through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, Habitat NCM builds and rehabilitates simple, decent houses alongside our homeowner partner families. Habitat NCM also operates the Leominster ReStore which raises funds through the sale of discounted or recycled materials and furniture.

Our Crowdfunding Campaign Kicks Off on Monday, April 17th!
Campaign Details
1. We are raising $25,000, the total cost of production, in just 45 days. This is an 80% or nothing campaign: if we do not raise at least 80% of our goal, the film does not get made.
2. We are launching our campaign on Seed & Spark—an online streaming platform that supports filmmakers. Get a head start by signing up today!
3. We are looking for 600 supporters, with contributions starting at $5.
You Can Make This Happen!
You are a critical part of the independent film world.
1. CONTRIBUTE DURING WEEK ONE: Campaigns that get off to a quick start have a higher rate of success. We will send you a link to the campaign on Monday so you can immediately jump on board!
2. MATCH DONOR: Pledge any amount over $100 to be a match donor for a day! Your contribution will inspire others to give and create the leverage for us to solicit our matching funds. Your contribution of $100 can actually help us generate two times that amount. Contact us at to become a match donor.
3. COFFEE CLUB: Join our coffee club by contributing $10.50 each week of our 6-week campaign ($63 total). This amount equals the cost of a cup of coffee from Dunkin’ Donuts (approx. $1.50) every day.
4. EXECUTIVE PRODUCER: As an Executive Producer, you are a key member of the filmmaking team. By contributing at least 10% of the total budget for the film ($2,500), you will receive IMDb (Internet Movie Database) credit, many incredible invites and perks, and, when the feature film is made, your contribution to the short will count as an equity investment in the feature. When the workday ends and the lights go down, Custom Cleaning Service of Peabody, Inc. gets to work. “We operate as our clients’ silent partner after business hours,” says Adam Paicos, of Templeton, who now serves as Director of Operations and oversees the company’s expansion into North Central MA. “We are not often seen, but we ensure facilities are clean, secure, and ready for business each day while serving as the eyes and ears for our clients when they are not on site.”
