Summer Food Truck Festival at Wachusett Mountain – July 14

Forget about the calories and enjoy the festivities! Enjoy an array of food specialties from assorted food trucks, sample some great craft beers and listen to live music. Between bites take a ride on the SkyRide to the mountain summit. This event is suitable for the whole family. We’ll even have a moonbounce for the kids and some craft vendors for the adults.

Festival runs from 11am-5pm.

Cars & Coffee at Wachusett Mountain – July 14

TIME: 8 am to 11 am
This is an open car meet format featuring a variety of vehicles. All are welcome to attend. There will be parking specifically for show cars and a separate area for guests just looking to attend the event.
FREE ADMISSION

Best in Show Prizes for the top 3 cars voted on by other car owners and guests to the event.

Categories expected at the event include

  • Unique Cars of Interest.

There will be coffee and pastries available for purchase.

DJ will be spinning from 8am-11am.

Summer Food Truck Festival BONUS:  All participants in the show receive a discounted admission ($5 versus $7) the Summer Food Truck Festival which runs on the Wachusett Base Area grounds from 11am-5pm.

Nancy Frates is the mother of Pete Frates who has ALS and they have created an incredible Foundation to support ALS research.  I’m sure you remember the Ice Bucket Challenge a few years back that was created on Pete’s behalf.

Travel back in time during History Week (July 9-14, 2018).  For Maker Monday, Jessica Clarke will come show us how to use clay to make a pinch pot, and we will make log cabins, cowboys, and horses with Ms. June at Crafternoon on Tuesday.  Our photo booth will have Little House on the Prairie costumes and a Wild West Cowboy Outfit.  Tuesday evening, the ScienceTellers will take us back to the Wild West and teach us about chemical reactions, acids and bases, combustion, air pressure, inertia and much more!  Please check our calendar listing for more information.  All are free programs.  Free parking is available in the lot at the corner of Boulder Drive and Newton Place.
