The Community Leadership Institute (CLI) offers a unique 9-month immersive experience designed to develop the next generation of leaders who will shape our region’s future. Through hands-on learning, exclusive access to regional leaders, and collaborative community projects, CLI participants gain the skills, connections, and insights needed to lead effectively in today’s technology and knowledge-driven economy.

Each year, CLI accepts up to 25 participants from diverse industries and roles within Chamber member organizations.

The CLI experience spans from October to June each year, featuring nine comprehensive, day-long sessions:

Bonus: CLI participants receive season tickets to seven Chamber breakfast events featuring diverse speakers and networking opportunities, plus access to select Chamber special events throughout the program year.
Community Impact Project
Throughout the program, participants collaborate on meaningful community projects that create lasting positive change in North Central Massachusetts. These projects allow participants to apply their leadership skills while making a tangible difference in our region.
Application Process
Nomination: Executive sponsors identify high-potential candidates from their organization
Application: Candidates complete the online application with four short essays
Selection: The CLI Steering Committee reviews applications and notifies accepted participants

Tuition: $2,050 (includes all program materials, lunches, and Chamber breakfast series tickets)
A limited number of half-tuition scholarships are available for non-profit organizations. Please include a letter of request with your application to be considered.
