Expertise of Local Entrepreneurs expands Boston NewCo Festival to Central Massachusetts.

3 Media Web Solutions Named a “NewCo”

3 Media Web Solutions Inc. is named a “NewCo” and joins the list of Boston’s most inspiring companies. Each year as part of the Boston NewCo Festival, these companies invite you to their headquarters with founders and top executives to share knowledge from the inside.

“It is an honor to be named a “Boston NewCo,” says Marc Avila, Founder, CEO of 3 Media Web Solutions. “We are excited to welcome participants into our business and to share our methods for growing a successful business using processes.”

Boston NewCo Festival Expands its Reach

This year, the Boston NewCo Festival (sponsored by Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council) expands to include more companies in the MetroWest and Central Massachusetts regions.

This year’s NewCo Festival runs April 4-6, 2017.  3 Media Web Solutions opens its doors Wednesday, April 5 between 8:30 am – 9:30 am. Marc Avila and Lysa Miller, VP of Sales & Marketing will present and the topic of creating and implementing processes around workflow and business to help entrepreneurs scale and grow.

“We are so excited to share our company’s success story along with the tools and processes that have helped us scale and grow our own business” says Lysa Miller. “We have a great location in Central Massachusetts, and it’s thrilling to have the NewCo Festival expand to this region.”

NewCos are the most innovative and exemplary companies in the world. When you are named a NewCo, you join a select group that includes Tesla, Google, and P&G.

What is the Boston NewCo Festival?

Since 2012, NewCo festivals have welcomed over 30,000 attendees into the offices of 1,500 innovative organizations. Attending a NewCo festival is a remarkable experience!

The Fitchburg Public Library Teen Center will be having an “Outsiders Night” on Saturday, March 11

The Fitchburg Public Library Teen Center will be having an “Outsiders Night” on Saturday, March 11, from 5-8 p.m. This free event is open to all teens 13-18. We will have Southwestern-inspired food, a movie, and a giant Jenga game. Teens are welcome to dress like one of the “Greasers,” “Socs,” or any other 60’s character. Because the Library will be closed, teens should enter through the Youth Library door.
The Teen Center is also adding more Teen activities: a Book Club, and Friday Night Craft Nights. The Book Club will be on Wednesday, March 29, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. to discuss John Green’s Paper Towns. Our first Craft Night will be a Henna Tattoo Night on Friday, March 31, from 5-7 p.m. For more information, or to register for the craft night, call the Library at 978-829-1783.

Leominster Credit Union anuncia ascensos

 Leominster Credit Union recently announced the promotion of Ellen Coughlin, Joanne Lattanzi and Nicole Legere

At the December meeting, the Board of Directors of Leominster Credit Union approved the promotions of Ellen Coughlin, to AVP, HR; Joanne
Lattanzi, to AVP, Marketing and Nicole Legere, to AVP, Compliance.

Ellen Coughlin was originally hired as a teller in the Worcester office.   She was promoted to the loan servicing area before moving into Human Resources in April of 2004. Coughlin is responsible for policy administration, performance management programs, recruiting initiatives, compensation/salary administration and employee relations. Coughlin received a BA from Worcester State College in Spanish and a minor in Health Sciences. She went on to receive her master’s degree from Emmanuel College, with a concentration in Human Resources.  She has also received her PHR, Professional Human Resources designation from the HR Certification Institute.  Coughlin resides in Sterling with her husband and daughter.

Joanne Lattanzi joined LCU in 2011 as Marketing Associate. She was promoted to Marketing Manager and Officer in 2013.  Prior to joining LCU
in 2011, Lattanzi was the Director of Marketing and Public Relations at The First National Bank of Ipswich. Lattanzi is involved with numerous committees within the LCU organization and responsible for various community events such as Shred Days.  Lattanzi is currently responsible for managing media relations, event coordination, website and social media content. She is a graduate of the ABA School of Bank Marketing and Management and resides in Melrose with her husband.

Nicole Legere started at LCU as a consultant through a partnership with the
Cooperative Credit Union Association in April of 2014.  Legere is responsible for the compliance department. She has developed and administered a comprehensive Compliance Program.  Legere earned a bachelor’s degree from University of Massachusetts at Amherst in Political Science and her Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law.  She has been admitted to both the Massachusetts and New York Bar.  Legere resides in Clinton.

“These promotions are the result of the exceptional performance of these individuals within their respective departments,” commented John O’Brien, President and CEO.  “Ellen, Joanne and Nicole display exemplary behavior and discipline in getting the job done and we are pleased that they are part of the LCU Team.”
