Aging Services of North Central Massachusetts (ASNCM) is pleased to announce that St. Anna Catholic School of 213 Lancaster Street in Leominster generously gave a donation of over 1,100 pairs of socks to the aging community of North Central Massachusetts.<\/p>\n

Traditionally referred to as \u201cSocks for Santa\u201d, ASNCM annually collaborates with Mrs. Denise Lawson\u2019s 6th<\/sup> grade class. Each winter, Mrs. Lawson and her students raised well over a thousand pairs of socks thanks to the generous donations by everyone around.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe (St Anna School) encourage and teach our students to help those in our community and show empathy by doing\u201d, said Denise Lawson. \u201cOur Socks for Santa drive is just one way we work together as a school community to help those around us.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are so very grateful to Mrs. Lawson and her 6th grade class at St. Anna\u2019s School.\u00a0 The caring spirit of these children and their families is profound and inspiring.\u00a0 Their generosity will have a positive impact on older adults in our community\u201d, stated Lori A. Richardson, ASNCM\u2019s Chief Executive Officer.<\/p>\n
