{"id":15657,"date":"2021-03-30T15:21:22","date_gmt":"2021-03-30T19:21:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.northcentralmass.com\/?p=15657"},"modified":"2021-03-30T15:21:22","modified_gmt":"2021-03-30T19:21:22","slug":"fidelity-bank-donated-nearly-450000-in-2020-through-its-lifedesign-community-dividend","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.northcentralmass.com\/es\/fidelity-bank-donated-nearly-450000-in-2020-through-its-lifedesign-community-dividend\/","title":{"rendered":"Fidelity Bank Donated Nearly $450,000 in 2020 through its LifeDesign Community Dividend"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"x_MsoPlainText\">LEOMINSTER, Mass \u2013 In an extraordinary year of challenge due to the pandemic,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fidelitybankonline.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"0\" data-ogsc=\"\">Fidelity Bank<\/a>\u00a0donated nearly $450,000 to more than 200 worthy organizations, events, and causes in several Central and Eastern Massachusetts communities in 2020 through its LifeDesign Community Dividend, which is money the bank sets aside for this purpose each year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoPlainText\">The pandemic was a major focus of 2020 donations, with Fidelity Bank donating more than $100,000 to help various organizations support basic needs early in the pandemic through its Caring for Our Communities COVID-19 Response Grants and more than $50,000 in additional holiday support given to more than a dozen Massachusetts food pantries to help people affected by the pandemic.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">\u201cLocal nonprofits, organizations and small businesses have done heroic work helping our communities get through this difficult time,\u201d says Fidelity Bank Chairman &amp; CEO Edward F.
