Lt. Gov. Polito announced today, September 29, 2020 that Gov. Baker signed an Executive Order stating that low risk communities may move to Phase III, Step 2. This is due to good health metrics and will apply to towns with low risk beginning Monday, October 5, 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Low risk communities are those that remain on the DPH weekly reports for 3 consecutive weeks, ranked as the gray, green and yellow communities on the map.\u00a0<\/span>https:\/\/www.mass.gov\/info-details\/community-level-covid-19-data-reporting<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

If a community remains ranked red for three consecutive weeks, that community must step back to Phase III, Step 1.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

A small list of businesses is impacted by this step and will have restrictions.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Indoor \/ outdoor performance venues may operate at 50% capacity but with a max capacity of 250 people.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Recreational businesses (such as trampolines, laser tag, roller rinks) may operate at 50%. Stadiums are not included and may not open.<\/span><\/p>\n

Retail may utilize fitting rooms.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Gyms, museums and flight schools may operate at 50% occupancy.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Gatherings are also revised:<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Indoor gatherings are still limited to 25 people. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Outdoor gatherings at private residences or private venues are limited to 50 in low risk communities.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Outdoor gatherings at event venues and public spaces are now allowed to 100 people.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

All safety protocols must continue:\u00a0stay home if ill, wear a mask, maintain social distance, wash hands frequently and keep cleaning\/disinfectant of spaces and surfaces.\u00a0Updates will be posted on the <\/span>Mass.gov<\/a><\/span> website before the weekend.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
