Below we have listed some responsibilities to be aware of for a successful ceremony. - Distribute notices of invitations to your guests.
- Hors D'oeuvres and Beverages. Snacks of some sort are usually served, but it is your decision. Your plan can be as simple or elaborate as you like, whatever fits the occasion.
- Photos are to be taken by your organization.
- Chamber Ambassadors conduct the ceremony, complete with a large pair of scissors, ribbon and a welcome statement before the ribbon cutting.
- Notification to the Board of Directors, Ambassadors, and Chamber staff.
- Local Media Contacts list is provided to you to send your photos and press release to.
- Local and State Officials list is provided to you.
- Catering, del and beverage services connections. We'll put you in touch with other Chamber businesses that can provide these services.
- Photo and acknowledgement of your ribbon cutting will be included on our website and in future chamber newsletters.
There is no charge for the Chamber's involvement, it's a value-added benefit of being a member. People generally anticipate spending about a half hour at the ceremony, so be prepared with collateral materials. |
