The North Central Mass Chamber of Commerce has created Leadership North Central Mass to inspire a new generation of men and women to enthusiastically assume important roles in their community. This program challenges individuals from diverse backgrounds to be influential in our region’s future.
This nine-month program is dedicated to providing participants with individual leadership skills and an understanding of the region’s education, government, health care, social services, justice system, media, arts and culture, environment and history. Participants will become personally involved in the needs of our community through direct interaction with current community leaders and officials. The Leadership Program consists of eight day-long monthly seminars, starting with an overnight retreat in October 2011. Participants end the program with a graduation ceremony, the following June.
